Recipe: Pina Colada Smoothie
Looking for something that tastes like your favourite cocktail AND getting some daily greens in your body? Well, you are in luck today! I am sharing with you Eat This Burn That's famous Pina Colada Smoothie recipe. Tastes just like the cocktail but extremely nourishing for you too! If you need that extra boost of protein for some #musclegainz - simply throw in a scoop of your protein of choice and voila - you have a Pina Colada Protein Shake. Pretty genius - if I may say so myself.
I am going through a smoothie & acai bowl phase at the moment (as you can probably already tell via Snapchat and Instragam) thanks to Froothie for letting me try out their brand new Optimum G2-1 Platinum Series Blender! This is what I have been doing recently - whip up this smoothie (with the protein) in the morning, hit the gym and enjoy it as a post workout snack while I get ready for work. On my rest days, I still blend them in the morning but take it with me to work and enjoy it as an arvo snack!
Quick tip:if you are time poor in the morning - prepare your ingredients over the weekend. By prepare, I mean portion them, wash & dry them and put them into individual zip lock bag. Then come morning, you could just whip them in your blender! Quick & Easy! :)

- 2 cup frozen pineapples
- 1 cup coconut milk (can)
- 1.5 cup spinach
- 1 cup ice
- Toppings: fresh pineapple cubes
- Put everything into your favourite blender.
- Add your toppings - this is time to get creative! Shredded coconut and fresh pineapple cubes are my fav!
